Cookie Notice
This is a short notice, because there is only one thing to explain.
The short version
This site sets no cookies at all until you tell us it is okay. The one choice we ask about — whether we can use an analytics service to understand how visitors use the site — is recorded in your browser's local storage, not a cookie, which is exactly why we can make that claim honestly.
What accepting turns on
If you accept, we load PostHog, an analytics service that tells us which pages are visited and records how visitors move around and interact with the site on screen. This is stored on PostHog's servers in the European Union. See our Privacy Notice for more on what this involves.
Refusing is just as easy
Choosing Reject takes one click, is exactly as easy as choosing Accept, and changes nothing else about how the site works or looks. Nothing analytical loads, and nothing about your visit is recorded.
How long we remember your choice
Whichever you choose, we remember it for six months. After that, we ask again, so your choice never quietly goes stale — this matches what the UK data protection regulator expects.
Changing your mind
You can change your answer at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer of every page, which reopens the same choice.
One thing to manage, not several
There is exactly one thing we ask your permission for — analytics and session recording. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or anything else that would need a longer list of choices.
